growth equals change

In order to experience growth we must also experience change. For something to grow it must change, period. Growth equals change. It doesn't matter what it is. I think back as I was growing up and I think of all the awkward change I went through. In order for my body to grow it had to change. The same is true for ministry. In order for the Church to grow, in order for your youth ministry to grow something must change. I believe that if we have not made any changes in our ministries then we are not growing.

Although it is important to note, change does not equal growth. Just because you change something doesn't mean it will grow. We have to change the right things.

What needs to change? What needs to be done differently? Think about it. Talk about it. Pray about it. Then change something. Because change equals growth and growth within the context of ministry equals changed lives.
