Drive 2010 Highlight Video

Last night I returned home from spending a few days at North Point Community Church attending the Drive Conference. It was amazing, to say the least. I gained a ton of insight and clarity for Kids Ministry and ministry in general. I came back full of vision and direction. I look forward to putting in to practice some of the principles and ideas that I took away. I’ll share some of what I learned in a future post, but in the meantime check out this highlight video below.

Creativity + Patience = Amazing Stop Motion Video

This video makes me smile and is a great reminder of what kids can do. Inspiration to make learning fun.

This Sunday is Big Day at People’s Church.

God’s Take on Sex

This weekend at People’s Church we are starting a series called Sexual Revolution. Everybody has an opinion on this topic, but we are going to share God’s take on the subject. So if your in the OKC area (or even if you’re not) make plans to be at People’s Church this Sunday as we kick off this exciting series with a special performance. Check out the promo video below for more details.

Click here to email an invite for this series. Be sure and bring someone with you this Sunday.

The Old Testament in 60 Seconds (Check out the New Testament in 60 Seconds here.)

This is the video promo for our current series, Game of Life, at People’s Church. (I make a small cameo appearance in this one.)

I came across this video from NewSpring Church in South Carolina. It is the story of the prodigal son. This video speaks to me a lot because I spent the early part of my life running from God. It is also a great reminder of those that are in a similar situation. If you happen to be reading this and you have run away from your Heavenly Father, I encourage you to come home.

Luke 15:17-24
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.’ So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.”
